Take a bowl and add curd. add 2-3 tsp roasted spices powder, salt to taste, 2 tbsp mustard oil, 1/4th tsp elachi powder,ginger garlic paste, 2-3 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder,kasoori methi. Adjust the colour accordingly by adding more red chilli powder. As we need the colour and less spicy taste, so we are using kashmiri red chilli powder. add 1 lemon juice. mix them all. add marinated chaap in this batter. mix them carefully.
  4. Cover the bowl. Keep marinated chaap in fridge for about 4-5 hours. You can either cook chaap in air fryer or at grill pan. preheat air fryer for 5 minutes. place chaap pieces in air fryer. cook it at 200 degree Celsius for 15-20 minutes. chaap is ready.
  5. Grill Pan cooking - Take a grill pan and let it heat on stove. place chaap pieces on grill pan. let it cook on grill pan at low heat. Turn the sides when it turns backish brown orange colour. cook it on both sides like this. chaap is ready.
  6. Now either you can serve the chaap like this only, with mint coriander chutney. For making malai chaap take a bowl, add cream, melted butter, and some chaat masala. mix it well. add few chaap pieces in the bowl and mix it. Malai chaap is ready.
