I have used equal amounts of Rava and veggies but you could reduce veggies quantity and make little thin dosa. If you are introducing veggies to kids, start with less quantity, and increase them gradually. You could use leftover curd to make this dosa that is sour and cannot be had directly. Grind red chilli, jeera and cubed beetroot without adding water to a smooth paste.

Instructions to make Carrot and Beetroot Rava Dosa:
  1. Mix all ingredients together except ghee.
  2. Whisk and make a semi thin batter.
  3. Heat a nonstick dosa tava and pour a ladle full batter on it.
  4. Spread evenly the batter and put ghee on side of dosa.
  5. Cook from both side till it crisps.
  6. Serve hot with chutney.

Add it to the batter, along with asafoetida and mix well. In a hot tawa, spread the dosa on desired thickness. I made it thick and cooked with a lid covered. drizzle some oil. Beetroot dosa is a iron and calcium rich dosa which is not only healthy but also colourful dosa, which the kids would love to eat.
