  1. Prepare Beetroot (Big & cubed/chopped)
  2. Get water (to boil the beetroot)

  6. Take Garam Masala Powder (Homemade)
  7. Get Maida (All-purpose Flour)

It is a great food for your kids lunch box. Flip the puri to other side and cook until it turns golden in color. Take the fried puri off kadhai and place it on kitchen napkin. Repeat above steps and deep frying remaining puris.

Instructions to make Beetroot Puri:
  1. Pressure Cook the Beetroot with 3-4 whistles & allow it to cool down & on cooling- strain it from its stalk & keep the stalk aside for later use (as is required)
  2. Once cooled down- blend it to a smooth paste in a blender jar without adding any additional water
  3. Now, in a parat/bowl- take all the ingredients aforementioned, altogether- add in the half portion of the cooked beetroot paste (or as is required)
  4. Now, prepare a soft & smooth dough (alike any other chapati dough), cover it & set aside for at least 30 mins time
  5. Now, in deep frying pan- Add sufficient oil for frying the puris & let it become rightly hot enough- make the dough balls of your choice & roll out each one of that to yield into the delicious & delectable beetroot puris…

Beetroot puri is ready to serve. Serve beetroot puri with aloo bhaji or any other veg curry of your choice. Beetroot Poori looks very attractive with nice color, tastes great and is an easy way to surprise your family or guests. Almost as easy to prepare as your regular poori/puri but perhaps healthier. Beetroot Puri/Poori can be served with Saagu/Subzi for breakast/lunch or as an evening snack.
