- Drain. Place meat back in pot with fresh water just to cover.
- Add all spices and bullion.
- Gently boil 3 more hrs.
- Add onion and potatoes, boil 15 mins.
- Remove meat and keep warm.
- Cut stem from cabbage but Do Not Core. Cut into eighths, then in half. Add to pot.
- Cook 15 more minutes or until desired doneness.
- Slice meat against grain and serve with vegetables. Don't forget the Broth!
Add de-seeded scotch bonnet pepper (optional) Add the corned beef (bully beef). Use a big spoon to break-up the corned beef and stir with the other ingredients. Add the wine and the spices from the packet. Baste the beef with the cooking liquid. Drop the potatoes and carrots into the liquid surrounding the beef.
