- Get 1 cup whole wheat flour
- Prepare 1/2 cup Almond flour
- Get 3/4 cup ghee
- Take 3/4 cup jaggery
I got this gur papdi or golpapdi recipe from my friend. She said that they make this for kids during winter. The texture of gurpapdi is soft and melt in the mouth. Sukhdi is a very quick to make sweet and tastes so good.

- Add ghee in to the pan. when ghee started melting add wheat flour and roast the wheat flour until it's change light golden brown color you will get nice aroma.
- Don't over cook the wheat flour otherwise there is chance to get hard sukhdi.
- Once it's done add almond flour and cook it 2 -3 minute.
- Next, Switch off the flame and add jaggery and mix it well with flour. (Make sure to switch off the flame when u add jaggery)
- Greased the plate with ghee and add sukhdi mixture into it and spread evenly.
- Cut into the squre pieces.
- Our yummy sukhdi is ready. Store in the air tight container for upto 2 weeks.
Golpapdi- A traditional dessert made with wheat flour,ghee and Jaggary. Golpapdi or Gur papdi / kansaar is a popular and traditional dessert or sweet from Gujarat which is specially made during winter. Golpapdi / kansaar is also popular in Sindhi community as sukhdi and in my home town Mathura we call this -kasaar. It is quite an easy recipe which is great as a dessert, a healthy recipe for. Process of making this delicacy is also very simple.
