- In a mixer jar take grated beetroot and 2 tsp sugar and grind it to make a smooth paste.
- In a bowl take semolina,beetroot paste,milk, milk powder,sugar,oil and custard powder,mix it well and prepare a smooth batter and keep aside for half an hour,now add vinegar,baking powder,baking soda,vanilla essence and tutti-frutti,mix nicely altogether for 1 minute.
- Now grease cake tin with oil and dust flour,transfer the batter in cake tin.
- Take 2 glass water in a cooker,let come boil in water once and put the cake pot into it,take off the whistle from cooker lid and steam it for 30 minutes on medium flame.
- After 30 minutes check the cake by inserting a knife or a toothpick,if it comes out clean,it means cake is ready,otherwise steam it for more 5 minutes.
- Cake is ready,keep it aside for cool down and serve it.
